    Thanks for sharing, Tom! It took me a long time as well to realize I was better off working for myself. In the last job I had, my only ever job in a commercial company, I realized I cared more about the company than my boss (or at least, it felt that way), which was extremely frustrating (I quit). Eventually my friends pushed me into starting my own company (something I’d never considered) and your Amsterdam friend taught me how to. 🙂
